Pursuant to Decree No. 170/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 22, 2004 of the Government on the restructuring, modernization, and development of state-owned agricultural enterprises;
Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the restructuring, modernization, and development of state-owned forestry enterprises;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province.

Article 1Approves the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned agricultural and forestry enterprises under the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province as follows:
1. Restructuring state-owned agricultural enterprises:
- The Bàu Cạn Agricultural and Industrial Enterprise shall be converted into the Bàu Cạn Tea Company;
- The Biển Hồ Agricultural and Industrial Enterprise shall be converted into the Biển Hồ Tea Company;
- The Ayun Tea State-Owned Agricultural Enterprise shall be converted into the Ayun Tea Company;
- Enhancing the production efficiency of the Gia Lai Coffee Company and the Chu Pah Coffee Company.
2. Converting the following forestry enterprises into forest companies:
- Ka Nak Forestry Enterprise;
- Lơ Ku Forestry Enterprise;
- Trạm Lập Forestry Enterprise;
- Krông Pa Forestry Enterprise;
- Đắk Roong Forestry Enterprise;
- Sơ Pai Forestry Enterprise;
- Hà Nừng Forestry Enterprise;
- Kông H’de Forestry Enterprise;
- Ia Pa Forestry Enterprise;
- Kông Chiêng Forestry Enterprise;
- Kông Chro Forestry Enterprise.
3. Converting the following forestry enterprises into forest protection management boards:
- Đức Cơ Forestry Enterprise;
- Chư Păh 2 Forestry Enterprise;
- Mang Yang II Forestry Enterprise;
- An Khê Forestry Enterprise.
Article 2.Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province:
1. Direct the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned agricultural and forestry enterprises as stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision.
2. Issue decisions to adjust the area and boundaries of land allocated to agricultural companies, forestry companies, and forest protection management boards in accordance with local agricultural and forestry development plans and relevant laws on land, forest protection, and development.
Article 3.Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and related agencies shall cooperate with the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province in implementing this Plan.
Article 4.This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province and heads of related agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
