THE MINISTER OF LABOR, WAR INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS

Pursuant to Decree No. 29/2003/NĐ-CP dated January 31, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Pursuant to Decree No. 40/2004/NĐ-CP dated February 13, 2004 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Statistics;

Pursuant to Decision No. 305/2005/QĐ-TTg dated November 24, 2005 of the Prime Minister on issuing the National System of Statistical Indicators;

Pursuant to Circular No. 893/TCTK-PPCĐ dated October 27, 2006 of the General Statistics Office regarding the review of the draft System of Statistical Indicators in the field of labor, war invalids, and social affairs;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance,

DECISION:

Article 1. The System of Statistical Indicators in the field of labor - war invalids and social affairs is hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. The Department of Planning and Finance shall be responsible for coordinating with units within the Ministry:

1. Standardizing concepts, contents, calculation methods, data sources for each indicator in the system of statistical indicators in the field of the industry; developing survey programs, basic reporting systems, comprehensive reporting systems applicable to units, and submitting them to the Ministry for issuance;

2. Compiling statistical report data and presenting them to the Ministry for publication according to its authority.

Article 3. Units under the Ministry shall be responsible for collecting and compiling the assigned indicators and implementing the statistical reporting system as prescribed.

Article 4. Departments of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs of provinces and centrally governed cities shall be responsible for organizing the collection of information on statistical indicators in their respective fields and implementing the statistical reporting system as prescribed.

Article 5. This Decision shall take effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace the System of Collection and Compilation Indicators through Surveys for Sector Management during the 2001-2010 period issued by Decision No. 51/2001/QĐ-LĐTBXH dated January 19, 2001 of the Minister of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs on issuing regular reporting systems and the system of compilation indicators through surveys for state management in the field of labor - war invalids and social affairs.

Article 6. The Director of the Office, the Head of the Department of Planning and Finance, Heads of related units under the Ministry, and Directors of Departments of Labor - War Invalids and Social Affairs of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
