CIRCULAR

Amending, supplementing, and abolishing certain provisions on administrative procedures set forth in Decision No. 24/2002/QĐ-BCN dated June 17, 2002 of the Minister of Industry regarding the issuance of regulations on standards for enterprises producing and assembling two-wheeled motorcycles and Decision No. 115/2004/QĐ-BCN dated October 27, 2004 of the Minister of Industry regarding the issuance of regulations on standards for automobile manufacturing enterprises.

On June 17, 2002, the Minister of Industry issued Decision No. 24/2002/QĐ-BCN on the issuance of regulations on standards for enterprises producing and assembling two-wheeled motorcycles.

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 59/NQ-CP dated December 17, 2010 of the Government on simplifying administrative procedures within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

The Minister of Industry and Trade amends, supplements, and abolishes certain provisions on administrative procedures set forth in Decision No. 24/2002/QĐ-BCN dated June 17, 2002 of the Minister of Industry on the issuance of regulations on standards for enterprises producing and assembling two-wheeled motorcycles and Decision No. 115/2004/QĐ-BCN dated October 27, 2004 of the Minister of Industry on the issuance of regulations on standards for automobile manufacturing enterprises, as follows:

Article 1. Amend point a, Clause 6 of the regulations on standards for enterprises producing and assembling two-wheeled motorcycles issued together with Decision No. 24/2002/QĐ-BCN dated June 7, 2002 of the Minister of Industry, as follows:

Delete the phrase "and submit it to the leadership of the Ministry for signature of confirmation for the enterprise. For new enterprises, the Ministry of Industry will report"

Article 2. Abolish Clause 2, Article 9 of the "Regulations on Standards for Enterprises Producing and Assembling Automobiles" issued together with Decision No. 115/2004/QĐ-BCN dated October 27, 2004 of the Minister of Industry on the issuance of regulations on standards for automobile manufacturing enterprises.

Article 3. Effectiveness

This Circular takes effect from May 15, 2011.

Article 4. Responsibilities for Implementation

The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, the Director of the Department of Heavy Industry, Heads of units under the Ministry, Departments of Industry and Trade of provinces and centrally governed cities, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
