DECREE
Abolishing certain regulatory legal documents issued by the Government
__________
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated June 19, 2015;
On the basis of the Law on Enacting Legal Normative Documents dated June 22, 2015;dated June 22, 2015;
At the proposal of the Minister of Justice;
The Government issues this Decree to abolish certain legal normative documents issued by the Government.
This Circular takes effect from January 25, 2026.
1. Circular No. 05/2000/TT-BXD dated June 27, 2000 of the Minister of Construction guiding the implementation of support for people participating in revolutionary activities before the August Revolution of 1945 to improve housing pursuant to Decision No. 20/2000/QĐ-TTg dated February 3, 2000 of the Prime Minister.
1. Decree No. 48/1999/NĐ-CP dated July 8, 1999 of the Government stipulating the Representative Office and Branches of traders and tourism enterprises of Vietnam within the country and abroad.
2. Decree No. 50/2001/NĐ-CP dated August 16, 2001 of the Government detailing the implementation of some articles of the Ordinance on the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
3. Decree No. 164/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 14, 2004 of the Government on the seizure and auctioning of land use rights for enforcement of judgments.
4. Decree No. 173/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 30, 2004 of the Government stipulating procedures, coercive measures, and administrative penalties in civil enforcement.
5. Decree No. 10/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 17, 2006 of the Government on the organization and operation of Ethnic Minority Inspection.
6. Decree No. 30/2006/NĐ-CP dated March 29, 2006 of the Government on scientific and technological statistics.
7. Decree No. 134/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 15, 2007 of the Government stipulating official units of measurement.
8. Decree No. 14/2011/NĐ-CP dated February 16, 2011 of the Government stipulating conditions for registration and operation of customs clearance agents.
9. Resolution No. 33/2008/NQ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government on pilot implementation of certain administrative procedures in investment construction for new urban areas, housing projects, and industrial infrastructure projects.
Article 2. Repealing part of legal normative documents
Abolish Article 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, Clause 1 of Article 23, Clause 1 of Article 24 of Decree No. 42/2009/NĐ-CP dated May 7, 2009 of the Government on classification of cities.
Article 3. Implementation Provisions
1. This Decree takes effect from March 20, 2019.
2. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, and Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
