CIRCULAR
Amending and supplementing certain contents of Circular No. 06/2000/TT-BXD dated July 4, 2000 of the Ministry of Construction guiding the implementation of Decision No. 178/1999/QĐ-TTg dated August 30, 1999 of the Prime Minister promulgating the Labeling Regulation for goods circulating in Vietnam and goods exported and imported for construction materials
The Ministry of Construction issued Circular No. 06/2000/TT-BXD dated July 4, 2000 guiding the implementation of Decision No. 178/1999/QĐ-TTg dated August 30, 1999 of the Prime Minister promulgating the Labeling Regulation for goods circulating in Vietnam and goods exported and imported for construction materials;
On August 15, 2000, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 95/2000/QĐ-TTg on amending and supplementing certain contents of the Labeling Regulation for goods circulating in Vietnam and goods exported and imported promulgated together with Decision No. 178/1999/QĐ-TTg dated August 30, 1999 of the Prime Minister;
To align with the new provisions of Decision No. 95/2000/QĐ-TTg, the Ministry of Construction guides amending and supplementing certain contents of Circular No. 06/2000/TT-BXD dated July 4, 2000 of the Ministry of Construction as follows:
1. Supplement Clause a Item 1 Part A of the mandatory labeling content of Circular No. 06/2000/TT-BXD as follows:
The height of the written product name shall not be less than 2 mm (two millimeters).
2. Supplement Item 3 Part A of the mandatory labeling content of Circular No. 06/2000/TT-BXD as follows:
The location for recording quantity is on the main part of the label (PCD)
3. Supplement Item 6 Part A of the mandatory labeling content of Circular No. 06/2000/TT-BXD as follows:
For cement products, only the month and year of production shall be recorded.
Example: Cement produced in May 2001 is labeled as SX 05.2001
4. Other provisions remain applicable according to Circular No. 06/2000/TT-BXD dated July 4, 2000 of the Ministry of Construction.
5. This circular takes effect fifteen days from the date of issuance.
6. Any issues encountered during implementation should be promptly reported to the Ministry of Construction for consideration and resolution./.
