Pursuant to the Education Law on June 14, 2005; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Education Law on November 25, 2009;

Decree No. Decision No. 36/2012/ND-CP dated April 18, 2012, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Decree No. Decision No. 32/2008/ND-CP dated March 19, 2008, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Decree No. Decision No. 115/2010/ND-CP December 24, 2010 Government Decree No. 115/2010/NĐ-CP on responsibilities for state management of education;

Based on the Minutes of the Review Board dated November 25, 2010, December 7, 2010, December 8, 2010, December 14, 2010, December 15, 2010, December 28, 2010, and December 31, 2010, established pursuant to Decision No. 4995/QĐ-BGDĐT dated November 4, 2010, of the Minister of Education and Training;

At the request of the Director of the Department of Vocational Education,

The Minister of Education and Training decides:

Article 1. Attached herewith are ten intermediate vocational education curriculum frameworks for four groups of majors, specifically as follows:

1. The Chemical Technology, Materials, Metallurgy, and Environment major includes the following specialties:

a) Black Metallurgy;

b) Non-Ferrous Metallurgy.

2. The Mechanical Engineering Technology major includes the following specialties:

a) Maintenance and Repair of Chemical Equipment;

b) Electro-Mechanical Technology;

c) Thermal and Cold Process Technology;

d) Maintenance and Repair of Mechanical Equipment.

3. The Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunications Technology major includes the following specialties:

a) Management of Electrical Network Operations;

b) Electronic and Telecommunications Technology;

c) Construction of Power Lines and Substations.

4. The Petroleum and Mining Technology group includes the specialty: Petrochemical Technology.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from June 24, 2013. The attached curriculum frameworks shall be used in educational institutions assigned the task of training these intermediate vocational specialties.

Article 3. Based on the curriculum framework stipulated herein, educational institutions assigned the task of training the subjects mentioned in Article 1 shall organize the development of specific school training programs; compile or select and submit for approval to use as teaching materials based on the determination of the educational institution's manual that has been verified by the Board.

Article 4. The Director of the Office, the Director of the Department of Vocational Education, the Heads of units under the Ministry of Education and Training related to this matter, and the Heads of educational institutions assigned to train the vocational specialties mentioned in Article 1 hereby undertake to implement this Circular.
