THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 116/2003/NĐ-CP dated October 10, 2003 of the Government on the recruitment, employment, and management of cadres and civil servants in state-run units;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Primary Education.

DECISION:

Article 1. The General Provisions on the Occupational Standards for Primary School Teachers are hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. This Decision replaces Decision No. 48/2000/QĐ-BGDĐT dated November 13, 2000 on the Regulation on Professional Evaluation and Classification of Primary School Teachers and Decision No. 05/2007/QĐ-BGDĐT dated March 8, 2007 of the Minister of Education and Training on the Occupational Standards for Primary School Teachers.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Department of Primary Education, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and Directors of Departments of Education and Training are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
