DECREE
On Imposing a Special Additional Charge on Postal Parcels
CHAIRMAN OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree No. 97 dated June 5, 1946 increasing various postal, telegraph, and telephone taxes;
Pursuant to Decree No. 116 dated July 9, 1946 imposing a special additional charge on transportation sectors;
At the proposal of the Minister of Public Works,
The Council of Ministers agrees;
ISSUES THE DECREE:
Article 1. As of August 10, 1946, postal parcels shall be subject to an additional charge of 10% on their postage fees.
Article 2. This special additional charge shall be collected monthly and deposited into the Ministry of National Defense fund.
Article 3. The Ministers of Finance, Public Works, and National Defense are responsible for implementing this Decree.
