PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

On the basis of Decision No. 1077/1997/QĐ-TTg dated December 12, 1997 of the Government Chairman on the establishment of the National Science and Technology Policy Council;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Chairman of the National Science and Technology Policy Council,

DECISION:

Article 1. Approves the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of the National Science and Technology Policy Council for the term from 2003 to 2008 issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 1078/1997/QĐ-TTg dated December 12, 1997 of the Government Chairman approving the Regulation on the organization and operation of the National Science and Technology Policy Council.

Article 3. The Chairman and members of the National Science and Technology Policy Council, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees under central cities related to this matter are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
