Issuing Regulations on Registration of Inland Waterway Vessels

MINISTER OF TRANSPORT

  Pursuant to the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic dated June 15, 2004;

  Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

  Pursuant to Decree No. 51/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 22, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport.

  At the proposal of the Director of the Transport Department and the Director of the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration,

DECISION:

Article 1. These Regulations on Registration of Inland Waterway Vessels are hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and revokes Decision No. 29/2004/QĐ-BGTVT dated December 7, 2004 of the Minister of Transport on Regulations on Registration of Inland Waterway Vessels.

Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Departments, the Directors of the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration, the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the Provincial Departments of Transport under the Central Government, the Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
