Issuing National Technical Regulations on Classification and Construction of Domestic Steel-Hulled Tanker Vessels for Hazardous Chemicals and Pollution Prevention from Domestic Waterway Vessels
Amending the first time: 2016 QCVN 01:2008/BGTVT and National Technical Regulations on Pollution Prevention from Domestic Waterway Vessels - Amending the second time: 2016 QCVN 17:2011/BGTVT
Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2007/NĐ-CP dated February 10, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
The Minister of Transport issues this Circular issuing National Technical Regulations on Classification and Construction of Domestic Steel-Hulled Tanker Vessels for Hazardous Chemicals - Amending the first time: 2016 QCVN 01:2008/BGTVT and National Technical Regulations on Pollution Prevention from Domestic Waterway Vessels - Amending the second time: 2016 QCVN 17:2011/BGTVT.

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Based on Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions
1. National Technical Regulations on Classification and Construction of Domestic Steel-Hulled Tanker Vessels for Hazardous Chemicals
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Science and Technology and the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration Inspection Bureau;
Registration Code: Amending the first time: 2016 QCVN 01:2008/BGTVT.
Article 1. 1. National Technical Regulation on Railway Traffic Signals, number QCVN 21:2025/BXD.
2. National Technical Regulations on Pollution Prevention from Domestic Waterway Vessels
Registration Code: Amending the second time: 2016 QCVN 17:2011/BGTVT.
This Circular takes effect from November 28, 2017. It abolishes the following documents:
1. Decision No. 30/2008/QĐ-BGTVT dated December 22, 2008 of the Minister of Transport issuing National Technical Regulations on Classification and Construction of Domestic Steel-Hulled Tanker Vessels for Hazardous Chemicals.
Article 2. 2. Circular No. 70/2011/TT-BGTVT dated December 30, 2011 of the Minister of Transport issuing National Technical Regulations on Pollution Prevention from Domestic Waterway Vessels and Circular No. 08/2013/TT-BGTVT dated May 6, 2013 of the Minister of Transport amending and supplementing certain provisions of QCVN 17:2011/BGTVT - National Technical Regulations on Pollution Prevention from Domestic Waterway Vessels issued together with Circular No. 70/2011/TT-BGTVT dated December 30, 2011.
The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments, Directors of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Transport, relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
2.
