RESOLUTION
On the organization of the agencies of the National Assembly
OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
On the basis of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the National Assembly No. 57/2014/QH13 amended and supplemented by Law No. 65/2020/QH14 and Law No. 62/2025/QH15;
Pursuant to the Report No. 1160/TTr-UBTVQH15 dated February 8, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the organization of the agencies of the National Assembly;
RESOLUTION:
Article 1. Agencies of the National Assembly
1. The agencies of the National Assembly include:
a) Ethnic Council;
b) Legal Affairs and Judicial Committee;
c) Economic and Financial Committee;
d) National Defense, Security, and Foreign Affairs Committee;
e) Cultural and Social Committee;
f) Science, Technology, and Environment Committee;
g) Representative Work Committee;
h) Petitions and Oversight Committee.
2. The Standing Committee of the National Assembly shall specify the specific duties, powers, and organizational structure of the agencies mentioned in Clause 1 of this Article, ensuring clear delineation of the scope of responsibility and comprehensive coverage of all tasks and powers of the agencies as prescribed by current regulations.
Article 2. Effective Date
This Resolution shall take effect from the date it is adopted by the National Assembly.
Article 3. Transitional Provisions
1. The Legal Affairs Committee, the Judicial Committee, the Economic Committee, the Finance Committee, the Budget Committee, the Culture, Education Committee, the Social Committee, the National Defense and Security Committee, and the Foreign Affairs Committee shall continue to operate according to the provisions of the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly No. 57/2014/QH13, which has been amended and supplemented by Law No. 65/2020/QH14 until the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the specific duties, powers, and organizational structure of the Ethnic Council and the Committees of the National Assembly as stipulated in Clause 1 of Article 1 of this Resolution comes into effect.
The agencies specified in Clause 1 of Article 1 of this Resolution shall officially commence operations from the date the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the specific duties, powers, and organizational structure of those agencies takes effect.
2. The agencies specified in Clause 1 of this Article and other related agencies shall organize the transfer and receipt of assets, files, and ongoing work corresponding to their assigned responsibilities, duties, and areas of jurisdiction.

This Resolution was adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the 9th extraordinary session of the 15th term on February 18, 2025.
