DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT

Supplementing the list of projects to borrow credit for state investment development in accordance with Decree No. 106/2004/NĐ-CP

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Law on Encouraging Domestic Investment (amended) dated May 20, 1998;

WHEREAS, the Law on the State Budget dated December 16, 2002;

Considering the proposals from localities and the Government Office,

DECREE:

Article 1. Supplementing Clause 1, Section I of the List of Projects and Programs to Borrow Investment Credit issued together with Decree No. 106/2004/NĐ-CP dated April 1, 2004 on state credit for investment development, as follows:

Projects for planting industrial raw material forests in concentrated areas in the Central Highlands, mountainous regions, remote and difficult areas, linked to job creation for ethnic minorities and processing facilities for agricultural and forest products in these regions shall be eligible to borrow state credit for investment development.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Minister of Finance and the Management Council of the Development Support Fund shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decree within their respective functions and authorities.

Article 4. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and the Chairperson of the Management Council of the Development Support Fund shall be responsible for implementing this Decree.
