THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Pursuant to Decree No. 68-CP dated October 11, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health.
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Prime Minister stipulating the division of responsibilities for state management over product quality.
Pursuant to Circular Jointly Issued by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment No. 07/TTLB dated July 1, 1996 guiding the implementation of Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Prime Minister.
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Drug Administration.
Pursuant to …;
Article 1. Attached to this Decision is the "List of Goods of Cosmetic Products Required to Register Quality at the Ministry of Health."
Article 2. All cosmetic products listed in Article 1, whether produced domestically or imported, must be registered for quality by the Ministry of Health before being allowed to circulate in Vietnam.
Article 3. The Vietnam Drug Administration shall be responsible for organizing the implementation of tasks related to the review of quality registration for cosmetic products listed in Article 1.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from January 1, 1997. Any previous Decisions that conflict with this Decision are hereby abolished.
Article 5. The Director of the Office, Heads of Departments, Director of the Vietnam Drug Administration, Heads of units under the Ministry of Health, Directors of Provincial Health Services, Central City Health Services, Heads of units producing, trading, exporting, and importing cosmetics are responsible for implementing this Decision.
