Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;
Pursuant to the Law on Surveying and Mapping dated June 14, 2018;

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issues this Circular on the issuance of National Technical Regulations on the national geographic base database at scales of 1:250,000, 1:500,000, and 1:1,000,000.
Article 1. Attached to this Circular are the National Technical Regulations on the national geographic base database at scales of 1:250,000, 1:500,000, and 1:1,000,000, code QCVN 77:2023/BTNMT.
Article 2. Effectiveness
Article 1. This Circular shall take effect from May 30, 2024.
Article 2. Circular No. 48/2016/TT-BTNMT dated December 28, 2016 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment on technical regulations for the national geographic base database at scale 1:250,000 shall cease to be effective from the date this Circular takes effect.
Article 3. Implementation
1. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, provincial People's Committees under central cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for enforcing this Circular.
2. The Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation shall be responsible for organizing the dissemination and inspection of the implementation of this Circular.
3. During implementation, if there are any difficulties, agencies, organizations, and individuals are requested to promptly report to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for consideration and decision.
