REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE FRAMEWORK CURRICULUM FOR HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT FIELD AT UNIVERSITY AND COLLEGE LEVELS

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Pursuant to the minutes of the review meeting on October 25, 2003 of the Advisory Council for the development of the higher education framework curriculum in the economics and business management field at university and college levels;
the higher education framework curriculum in the economics and business management field at university and college levels, including seven framework curricula (of five majors);
At the proposal of the Director of the University and Postgraduate Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in the Economics and Business Management Field at University and College Levels, which includes the following seven framework curricula:

1. Economics major, university level;

2. Business Administration major, university level;

3. Accounting major, university level;

4. Finance and Banking major, university level;

5. Economic Information Systems major, university level;

6. Business Administration major, college level;

7. Accounting major, college level.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The Framework Curriculum attached to this Decision shall be used in universities, academies, university-level institutions, and college-level institutions that have the responsibility to train the above seven framework curricula at university and college levels and shall be implemented starting with the academic year 2004.

Article 3. The Director of the University and Postgraduate Department shall be responsible for guiding the rectors of universities and academies and the principals of university-level and college-level institutions in developing specific school curricula, organizing the compilation and approval of common textbooks in accordance with regulations.

Article 4.The Heads of the Office, the Director of the University and Postgraduate Department, heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, rectors of universities and academies, and principals of university-level and college-level institutions shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
