Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
On the basis of Decree No. 186/2004/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2004 of the Government stipulating management and protection of road infrastructure;
Pursuant to Decree No. 16/2005/NĐ-CP dated February 7, 2005 of the Government on project management for construction works; and Decree No. 112/2006/NĐ-CP dated September 29, 2006 amending and supplementing certain articles of Decree No. 16/2005/NĐ-CP dated February 7, 2005 on project management for construction works;
Pursuant to Decree No. 209/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 16, 2004 of the Government on construction quality management;
Pursuant to Decree No. 111/2006/NĐ-CP dated September 29, 2006 of the Government guiding the implementation of the Bidding Law and guiding the selection of contractors under the Construction Law;
In accordance with the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration and the Heads of relevant Departments;
DECISION:
Article 1. The accompanying this Decision are "Regulations on Traffic Safety Appraisal for Roadways";
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. This Decision abolishes Circular No. 11/2005/TT-BGTVT dated September 5, 2005 of the Minister of Transport guiding traffic safety appraisal work for roadways.
Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Heads of relevant Departments, the Directors of relevant Agencies, the Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, the Heads of relevant agencies, units, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
