Regarding the classification of roads for determining road freight rates in 2008

MINISTER OF TRANSPORT

Pursuant to Decree No. 51/2008/NĐ-CP dated April 22, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

Pursuant to Decision No. 32/2005/QĐ-BGTVT dated June 17, 2005 of the Ministry of Transport on the issuance of regulations for classifying roads to determine road freight rates;

At the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration and the Director of the Infrastructure Department of the Ministry of Transport.

DECISION:

Article 1. Announce the classification of national roads managed by the central government for determining road freight rates (with detailed tables attached).

For local roads, the Departments of Transport shall classify the roads and submit them to the People's Committees of provinces for announcement (in accordance with the regulations on classifying roads to determine road freight rates issued together with Decision No. 32/2005/QĐ-BGTVT dated June 17, 2005 of the Ministry of Transport).

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. This Decision replaces Decision No. 29/2007/QĐ-BGTVT dated June 26, 2007.

Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry’s Office, the Director of the Vietnam Highway Administration, the General Directors of the Road Management Zones, the Directors of the Departments of Transport, and the Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
