Pursuant to the Maritime Code of Vietnam dated November 25, 2015;
Pursuant to the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic dated June 15, 2004 and the Law Amending Certain Provisions of the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic dated June 17, 2014;
BASED ON THE DECREE NO. 56/2022/ND-CP dated August 24, 2022 of THE GOVERNMENT stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT;
At the proposal of the Director of the Legal Department and the Director of the Vietnam Ship Survey Bureau;
The Minister of Transport issues this Circular amending and supplementing certain Articles of Circular No. 20/2022/TT-BGTVT dated July 29, 2022 of the Minister of Transport on forms of certificates, technical safety books, and environmental protection books issued to ships, floating docks, floating storage tanks, mobile platforms, inland waterway vessels, and industrial products used for inland waterway vessels.
Article 1. Amending and supplementing certain provisions of Circular No. 20/2022/TT-BGTVT dated July 29, 2022 of the Minister of Transport on forms of certificates, technical safety books, and environmental protection books issued to ships, floating docks, floating storage tanks, mobile platforms, inland waterway vessels, and industrial products used for inland waterway vessels (hereinafter referred to as Circular No. 20/2022/TT-BGTVT)
1. Add the phrase "submarine" after the phrase "ship" in the title of the Circular, Article 1, Article 2, Clause 1 of Article 4, Article 6, Article 7, and Appendix I promulgated together with Circular No. 20/2022/TT-BGTVT.
2. Replace Model Nos. III.04, III.05, III.06, III.07, and III.08 in Appendix III promulgated together with Circular No. 20/2022/TT-BGTVT respectively with Model Nos. III.04, III.05, III.06, III.07, and III.08 in the Appendix promulgated together with this Circular.
Article 2. Implementation clause
1. This Circular takes effect from September 1, 2024.
2. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments, Directors of the Vietnam Maritime Administration Inspection Bureau, Directors of the Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration, Directors of Provincial and Municipal Departments of Transport under the Central Government, Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Transport, relevant organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
