DECREE
OF THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 26/CP DATED MARCH 24, 1994 ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COUNTY
ĐẮK HÀ IN THE PROVINCE OF KON TUM
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province and the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government;
DECREE
Article 1.- The County of Đắk Hà and the town seat of Đắk Hà County shall be established as follows:
1. Establish the County of Đắk Hà based on two communes of Đắk Pxi and Đắk HRing from the County of Đắk Tô (covering 35,356 hectares of natural area with 5,158 inhabitants); and four communes of Đăk La, Hà Mòn, Đăk Ui, and NgọK Réo from the city of Kon Tum (covering 39,560 hectares of natural area with 24,682 inhabitants).
- The County of Đắk Hà has 74,924.7 hectares of natural area with 29,840 inhabitants.
The boundaries of the County of Đắk Hà are to the east adjacent to the County of Kon Plong; to the west adjacent to the County of Sa Thầy; to the south adjacent to the city of Kon Tum; and to the north adjacent to the County of Đắk Tô.
- The County of Đắk Tô retains 157,781.2 hectares of natural area with 38,580 inhabitants, including 15 administrative units which are the communes of NgọK Lây, Măng Xăng, Đăk Sao, Đăk Na, NgọK Tụ, Tân Cảnh, Pô Kô, Diên Bình, Kon Đào, Đăk Tờ Kan, Văn Lem, Tumơrông, Đăk Hà, and NgọK Yêu.
- The city of Kon Tum retains 41,140 hectares of natural area with 90,318 inhabitants, including 13 administrative units which are the wards of Thắng Lợi, Thống Nhất, Quyết Thắng, Quang Trung, and the communes of Ia Chim, Hòa Bình, Chư HReng, Đăk BLa, Đăk Cấm, Ngọk Bay, Đoàn Kết, Vinh Quang, and KRoong.
2. Establish the town of Đắk Hà (the town seat of the County of Đắk Hà) based on 2,250 hectares of natural area with 9,957 inhabitants from the commune of Hà Mòn.
- The town of Đắk Hà has 2,250 hectares of natural area with 9,957 inhabitants, including the villages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (farm Đăk Uy II, farm 701, livestock breeding enterprise, farm Đăk Uy III), and village Long Loi.
The boundaries of the town of Đắk Hà are to the east adjacent to the communes of Đăk Ui and Đăk La; to the west adjacent to the County of Sa Thầy; to the south adjacent to the commune of Hà Mòn; and to the north adjacent to the town of Đắk Tô and the commune of Đăk HRing.
- The commune of Hà Mòn retains 5,250 hectares of natural area with 3,543 inhabitants, including the villages Đăk Wơt, Kơ Tu, Đăk Mut, Kan Gu Na, Đăk Do, and farm Đăk Uy I.
The County of Đắk Hà has seven administrative units which are the communes of Đắk Pxi, Đắk HRing, Đăk La, Hà Mòn, Đăk Ui, Ngọk Réo, and the town of Đắk Hà.

Article 2.- The People's Committee of Kon Tum Province and the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
