The Prime Minister promulgates this Decision to amend and supplement Article 3 of Decision No. 82/2008/QĐ-TTg dated June 23, 2008 of the Prime Minister stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Amending and supplementing Article 3 of Decision No. 82/2008/QĐ-TTg dated June 23, 2008 of the Prime Minister stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as follows:

Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 36/2012/NĐ-CP dated April 18, 2012, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Based on Decree No. 15/2008/NĐ-CP dated February 4, 2008, issued by the Government, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs;
1. Institute for Strategic Diplomatic Studies.

The issuance of regulations on organization and operation; defining functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structures of subordinate units; appointing, relieving from duty, and dismissing heads and deputy heads of the Diplomatic Academy and its subordinate units shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law.
This Decision takes effect from September 1, 2012.
The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of Government Agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, Director of the Diplomatic Academy, and related agencies and organizations are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect from September 1, 2012.
Article 3. The Minister, Heads of Ministries equivalent to Ministries, Heads of Government agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, Director of the Diplomatic Academy, and relevant agencies and organizations are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
