ISSUING REGULATIONS ON THE MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT BY BUS

BASED ON THE ROAD TRAFFIC LAW dated June 29, 2001;

BASED ON ORDINANCE NO. 06/L-CTN dated August 8, 1998 issued by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam promulgating the Ordinance on Persons with Disabilities;

BASED ON DECREE NO. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

BASED ON DECREE NO. 110/2006/NĐ-CP dated September 28, 2006 of the Government on conditions for operating passenger transport by motor vehicles;

BASED ON DECREE NO. 55/1999/NĐ-CP dated July 10, 1999 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Ordinance on Persons with Disabilities;

At the proposal of the Director of the Transport Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE "REGULATIONS ON THE MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT BY BUS".

Article 2. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE; ABOLISHING DECISION NO. 3385/QĐ-PC-VT DATED DECEMBER 23, 1996 OF THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT ON THE ADOPTION OF TEMPORARY REGULATIONS ON THE MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT BY MOTOR VEHICLES IN URBAN AREAS.

Article 3. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY'S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY'S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTORS OF THE MINISTRY'S DEPARTMENTS, THE DIRECTOR OF VIETNAM ROADS ADMINISTRATION, THE DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AND CITY TRANSPORT DEPARTMENTS (DEPARTMENTS OF TRANSPORT AND PUBLIC WORKS) UNDER THE DIRECT CONTROL OF THE STATE, THE HEADS OF GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, UNITS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS RELATED TO THIS DECISION SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION./.
