Circular No. 34/2013/TT-BGDĐT amends the provisions in the List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment Minimum for Early Childhood Education attached to Circular No. 02/2010/TT-BGDĐT issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

CIRCULAR

AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS TO CERTAIN ITEMS PRESCRIBED IN THE MINIMUM LIST OF TEACHING AIDS - TOYS - EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION ISSUED TOGETHER WITH CIRCULAR NO. 02/2010/TT-BGDĐT OF FEBRUARY 11, 2010, ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law; Decree No. 31/2012/NĐ-CP dated May 11, 2011 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP; Decree No. 07/2013/NĐ-CP dated January 9, 2013 of the Government amending Point b Clause 13 Article 1 of Decree No. 31/2011/NĐ-CP dated May 11, 2011 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP;

Pursuant to Circular No. 17/2009/TT-BGDĐT dated July 25, 2009 of the Minister of Education and Training on the Early Childhood Education Program;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Educational Infrastructure and School Equipment, Toys for Children; the Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education; the Head of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment,

The Minister of Education and Training issues this Circular to amend and supplement certain items prescribed in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education issued together with Circular No. 02/2010/TT-BGDĐT dated February 11, 2010, issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

Article 1. Amend and supplement certain items prescribed in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education issued together with Circular No. 02/2010/TT-BGDĐT dated February 11, 2010, issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

1. Amend and supplement the following equipment:

a) Replace the item "Crayons, chalk, colored pencils" (Code MN122047) with "Crayons, chalk" in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education, for children aged 12 to 24 months;

b) Replace the item "Crayons, chalk, colored pencils" (Code MN232079) with "Crayons, chalk" in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education, for children aged 24 to 36 months.

2. Repeal the following equipment:

a) Repeal the following equipment specified in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education, for children aged 3 to 12 months:

b) Repeal the following equipment specified in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education, for children aged 12 to 24 months:

c) Repeal the following equipment specified in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education, for children aged 24 to 36 months:

d) Repeal the following equipment specified in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education, for preschool classes aged 3 to 4 years:

e) Repeal the following equipment specified in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education, for preschool classes aged 4 to 5 years:

f) Repeal the following equipment specified in the Minimum List of Teaching Aids - Toys - Educational Equipment for Early Childhood Education, for preschool classes aged 5 to 6 years:

Article 2. Based on the amended and supplemented equipment list issued in this Circular, the departments of education and training shall be responsible for directing the procurement, production, collection, use, and maintenance of equipment for teaching purposes at early childhood education centers.

Article 3. This Circular takes effect from November 1, 2013.

Article 4. The Heads of the Office; the Directors of the Department of Educational Infrastructure and School Equipment, Toys for Children; the Heads of the Department of Planning and Finance; the Heads of the Department of Early Childhood Education; the Heads of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment; the Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training and the Directors of provincial departments of education and training are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
