Decree No. 34/SL Regarding Amendment of Article 2 of Decree No. 1 on the Committee for District and Provincial Protection

DECREE

OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

NUMBER 34 DATED MARCH 19, 1947

THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 63 dated November 22, 1945 and Decree No. 77 dated December 21, 1945 organizing the people's administration and administrative committees,

Pursuant to the directive of the Government on February 25, 1946,

Pursuant to Decree No. 1-SL dated December 20, 1946 establishing the Protection Committee,

Considering the current situation,

After deliberation by the Council of Ministers,

ISSUES THE DECREE:

Article 1

Article 2 of the above-mentioned Decree No. 1-SL is amended as follows:

"The Protection Committee at the provincial and district levels shall consist of:

- One military representative,

- One administrative representative,

- Three people's representatives."

Article 2

The Ministers of National Defense, Interior, Justice, and Finance shall implement this Decree.
