ISSUING THE LIST OF WILD ANIMAL AND PLANT SPECIES LISTED IN THE ANNEXES TO THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES

Endangered Wild Fauna and Flora

BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 01/2008/NĐ-CP OF JANUARY 3, 2008, PROVIDING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT; GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 75/2009/NĐ-CP OF SEPTEMBER 10, 2009, AMENDING DECREE NO. 01/2008/NĐ-CP OF JANUARY 3, 2008;
BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 82/2006/NĐ-CP OF AUGUST 10, 2006, ON MANAGEMENT OF EXPORT, IMPORT, RE-EXPORT, IMPORT FROM THE SEA, TRANSIT, BREEDING, GROWTH AND ARTIFICIAL PROPAGATION OF ENDANGERED AND RARE WILD ANIMAL AND PLANT SPECIES;
BASED ON THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES OF WILD ANIMALS AND PLANTS (CITES);
At the proposal of the Director General of the Forest Administration;
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT ISSUES THIS CIRCULAR TO ISSUE THE LIST OF WILD ANIMAL AND PLANT SPECIES LISTED IN THE ANNEXES TO THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES OF WILD ANIMALS AND PLANTS.
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR IS THE LIST OF WILD ANIMAL AND PLANT SPECIES LISTED IN THE ANNEXES TO THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES OF WILD ANIMALS AND PLANTS.
Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM OCTOBER 25, 2013.
Article 3. THIS CIRCULAR REPLACES CIRCULAR 59/2010/TT-BNNPTNT OF OCTOBER 19, 2010 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT ON THE LIST OF WILD ANIMAL AND PLANT SPECIES UNDER THE MANAGEMENT OF THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ENDANGERED SPECIES OF WILD ANIMALS AND PLANTS.
Article 4. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE DIRECTOR OF THE FORESTRY GENERAL DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTOR OF THE AQUATIC RESOURCES GENERAL DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE AND CITY LEVEL DEPARTMENTS OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT, THE HEADS OF UNITS, ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS RELATED ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR./.
