CIRCULAR

Amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 25/2015/TT-BGTVT dated June 18, 2015 of the Minister of Transport on announcing the maritime area of Danang Port within the jurisdiction of Danang City and under the management of Da Nang Marine Port Office

Based on the opinions of the People's Committee of Danang City at Official Letter No. 5570/UBND-QLĐTh dated July 21, 2015;

The Minister of Transport issues this Circular to amend and supplement some articles of Circular No. 25/2015/TT-BGTVT dated June 18, 2015 of the Minister of Transport on announcing the maritime area of Danang Port within the jurisdiction of Danang City and under the management of Da Nang Marine Port Office

Pursuant to the Maritime Code of Vietnam dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to Decree No. 107/2012/NĐ-CP dated December 20, 2012 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

Pursuant to Decree No. 21/2012/NĐ-CP dated March 21, 2012 of the Government on management of seaports and maritime channels;

Article 1. Amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 25/2015/TT-BGTVT dated June 18, 2015 of the Minister of Transport on announcing the maritime area of Danang Port within the jurisdiction of Danang City and under the management of Da Nang Marine Port Office

At the proposal of the Director of the Legal Department and the Director of the Vietnam Maritime Administration,

2. Point b Clause 1 Article 2 shall be amended and supplemented as follows:.

“b) Landward boundary: from point DN2 running along the coastline of Danang Bay towards the west of Son Tra Peninsula, continuing through the safety passage downstream of Man Quang Bridge and the coastline of Danang Bay to point DN3 with coordinates 16°06’41”N, 108°13’30”E; from point DN3 connecting by straight line to point DN4 with coordinates 16°06’41”N, 108°12’57”E; from point DN4 connecting by straight line to point DN5 (located on the right bank of Han River counting from the sea) with coordinates 16°05’44”N, 108°13’00”E; from point DN5 following the coastline towards the west of Danang Bay, passing through Nam O Cape and Isabelle Cape, northwards to point DN6 with coordinates 16°12’38”N, 108°11’33”E (the eastern coast of Hai Van Pass, bordering Thua Thien Hue Province); from point DN6 connecting by straight line to point DN7 with coordinates 16°12’48”N, 108°11’49”E (the western coast of Son Tra Island) and running along the southwestern coast of Son Tra Island, ending at point DN1.”

C. TYPE I AND TYPE II WARD AND TOWNHOODS SHALL HAVE NO MORE THAN TWO DEPUTY CHAIRS OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE; TYPE III WARD AND TOWNHOODS SHALL HAVE ONE DEPUTY CHAIR OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE."

3. Abolishing Clause 2 Article 2.

Point a Clause 4 Article 2 shall be amended and supplemented as follows:

“a) Danang Bay area:

Article 2. Effective date of implementation

This Circular takes effect from November 1, 2015.
