PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Based on Decree No. 15/2008/NĐ-CP dated February 4, 2008, issued by the Government, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the opinions at the meeting of the Party Group of the Government held on June 12, 2010,
DECISION:
Article 1. Amending and supplementing Article 7 and Article 8 of the Regulation on Deputy Ministers' Assistants of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued together with Decision No. 95/2006/QĐ-TTg dated May 3, 2006 of the Government Prime Minister as follows:
"Article 7. The person appointed as Deputy Minister's Assistant must be holding a position as Head of a unit under the Ministry and be in the pool for Deputy Minister positions, while also meeting the following criteria:
1. Having high trustworthiness and having served as Director of a Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for at least two years;
2. Not exceeding 50 years of age and having sufficient health to perform the duties;
3. Advanced level of political theory.
Article 8. The number of Deputy Ministers' Assistants shall be based on work requirements and shall not exceed five persons."
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from August 30, 2010.
Article 3. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the direct jurisdiction of the central government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
