THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Pursuant to the General Secondary Education Program issued pursuant to Decision No. 16/2006/QĐ-BGDĐT dated May 5, 2006 of the Minister of Education and Training;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Continuing Education.

DECISION:

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Secondary General Education Program for secondary general education (Secondary School Equivalency).

Article 2. The Secondary General Education Program for secondary general education promulgated herein shall be applicable to continuing education conducted through part-time study and self-study with guidance.

This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede Decision No. 3004/GD-ĐT dated September 25, 1997 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Secondary School Equivalency Program.

Article 3. The Head of the Office of the Ministry, the Director of the Department of Continuing Education, the Heads of units under the Ministry of Education and Training related to this matter, the Chairpersons of Provincial People's Committees and Municipalities directly under the Central Government, and the Directors of Departments of Education and Training are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
