Issuing international telecommunication channel rental rates
THE MINISTER OF POST AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications;
Pursuant to Decision No. 99/1998/QĐ-TTg dated May 26, 1998 of the Prime Minister on price and postal and telecommunications tariff management;
Pursuant to Circular No. 03/1999/TT-TCBĐ dated May 11, 1999 of the General Post Office guiding the implementation of Decree No. 109-CP dated November 12, 1997 of the Government on Postal Services and Telecommunications and Decision No. 99/1998/QĐ-TTg dated May 26, 1998 of the Prime Minister on price and tariff management for postal services and telecommunications;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance,
DECISION:
Article 1. This Decision promulgates the tariff table for international leased line services.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from April 1, 2003, replacing Decision No. 26/2002/QĐ-BBCVT dated December 18, 2002 of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications on the issuance of the tariff table for international leased line services.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Department Heads of the Planning and Finance Department, Heads of units under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, General Directors, Directors of enterprises providing leased line services, and Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision.

1.2. Rental charge for satellite channels:
- The rental charge for satellite channels does not differentiate by zone.
- The rental charge for satellite channels is equivalent to the Zone 1 rate of the cable channel rental charge table specified in Point 1.1 above.

3. Domestic extension rental charge for leased lines:
3.1. Long-distance inter-provincial leased line rental charge (if applicable): Apply according to the inter-provincial leased line rental charge table prescribed by the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications.
3.2. Provincial leased line rental charge (including intra-city transmission): Uniformly applied as for inter-provincial leased lines.
4. The General Directors of enterprises providing international leased line services are authorized to determine specific rates within the tariff framework set forth in this Decision.
5. The rates mentioned above do not include Value Added Tax (VAT).
