DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Regarding the addition of certain substances to the List of Psychotropic Drugs and Precursors, pursuant to the Psychotropic Drug Management Regulation issued together with Decision No. 3047/2001/QĐ-BYT dated July 12, 2001 of the Minister of Health dated July 12, 2001 of the Minister of Health
THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Pursuant to the Law on Health Care for the People;
Pursuant to the Prevention and Treatment Regulations issued together with Decree No. 23/HĐBT dated January 24, 1991 of the Council of Ministers (now the Government);
Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Decree No. 67/2001/NĐ-CP dated October 1, 2001 of the Government promulgating lists of narcotic substances and precursors;
Pursuant to Decree No. 133/2003/NĐ-CP dated November 6, 2003 of the Government supplementing certain substances to the List of Narcotic Substances and Precursors issued together with Decree No. 67/2001/NĐ-CP dated October 1, 2001 of the Government;
At the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Drug Administration Bureau,
DECISION:
Article 1
1. Add the active substance: Ketamine to the List of Psychotropic Drugs (List 1) issued together with Decision No. 3047/2001/QĐ-BYT dated July 12, 2001 of the Minister of Health.
2. Add the active substances: N-ethyl-epehrine; N-methyl-epehrine; Norpseudoephedrine to the List of Precursors (List 2) issued together with Decision No. 3047/2001/QĐ-BYT dated July 12, 2001 of the Minister of Health.
Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, the Inspectorate, the Directors of relevant Departments under the Ministry of Health, the Director of the Vietnam Drug Administration Bureau, the Heads of subordinate units under the Ministry, health sectors, and the Directors of Provincial Health Services directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
