Amending and supplementing some articles of Circular No. 168/2020/TT-BQP dated December 25, 2020 of the Minister of National Defense on the models and colors of regular uniforms, field uniforms, professional uniforms, and work uniforms of the Vietnam Coast Guard

Amending and supplementing Article 12 as follows:"Article 12. Models and colors of berets for officers, non-commissioned officers; cadets training for officers and non-commissioned officers, technical staff; non-commissioned officers, soldiers1. Modelsa) Beret for general officers: The beret has an oval-shaped top with a yellow trim around the top; in front, it has a peak, the upper part covered with black velvet, attached with a peak trim. Above the peak, there is a gold-colored cooc cord with tinsel threads, both ends of the cord are attached to buttons with the national emblem. In the middle of the forehead part of the beret, there is a deer horn vent, two vents on each side of the beret. The strap inside the brim of the beret can be adjusted. The woven band on the brim of the beret is woven with floral patterns;b) Beret for officers and non-commissioned officers of colonel and lieutenant colonel ranks: The beret has an oval-shaped top with a trim of the same color; in front, it has a peak covered with black imitation leather, attached with a peak trim. Above the peak, there is a gold-colored cooc cord with woven threads, both ends of the cord are attached to buttons with a five-pointed star. In the middle of the forehead part of the beret, there is a deer horn vent, two vents on each side of the beret. The strap inside the brim of the beret can be adjusted. The woven band on the brim of the beret is woven with horizontal stripes;c) Beret for cadets training for officers and non-commissioned officers, technical staff; non-commissioned officers, soldiers: The beret has an oval-shaped top with a trim of the same color; in front, it has a peak; above the peak, there is a faux leather cord, both ends of the cord are attached to buttons. "Article 12. Models and colors of the kepi hat for officers, non-commissioned officers; cadets training to become officers and non-commissioned officers, technical specialists; non-commissioned officers, soldiers

1. Models

a) The kepi hat for general officers: The hat has an oval-shaped top with a yellow trim around the top; it has a visor at the front, covered with black velvet, attached with a visor trim. Above the visor, there is a gold-colored cooc cord with tinsel threads, both ends of which are attached with buttons bearing the national emblem. In the center of the forehead part of the hat, there is a single air vent hole, and on each side of the hat's edge, there are two air vent holes. The chin strap inside the hatband can be adjusted. The woven hatband is decorated with floral patterns;
b) The kepi hat for officers and non-commissioned officers of colonel and lieutenant colonel ranks: The hat has an oval-shaped top with a trim of the same color; it has a visor covered with faux leather material in black, attached with a visor trim. Above the visor, there is a gold-colored cooc cord with woven threads, both ends of which are attached with buttons bearing a five-pointed star. In the center of the forehead part of the hat, there is a single air vent hole, and on each side of the hat's edge, there are two air vent holes. The chin strap inside the hatband can be adjusted. The woven hatband is decorated with horizontal stripes;
c) The kepi hat for cadets training to become officers and non-commissioned officers, technical specialists; non-commissioned officers, soldiers: The hat has an oval-shaped top with a trim of the same color; it has a visor; above the visor, there is a faux leather cord, both ends of which are attached with buttons. In the center of the forehead part of the hat, there is a single air vent hole, and on each side of the hat's edge, there are two air vent holes. The chin strap inside the hatband can be adjusted. 2. Colors

b) The kepi hat for cadets training to become officers and non-commissioned officers, technical specialists; non-commissioned officers, soldiers: The top of the hat is dark navy blue, the body of the hat is light blue, the faux leather cord is black."
2. Supplementing Article 22a after Article 22 as follows:
"Article 22a. Sample images of uniforms for regular use

The models and colors of uniforms for regular use are prescribed in Model No. 01 to Model No. 18 in the Appendix accompanying this Circular."

3. Supplementing Article 28a after Article 28 as follows:
"Article 28a. Sample images of combat uniforms

The models and colors of combat uniforms are prescribed in Model No. 19 to Model No. 24 in the Appendix accompanying this Circular."

4. Supplementing Article 33a after Article 33 as follows:
"Article 33a. Sample images of uniforms for operational work on ships

The models and colors of uniforms for operational work on ships are prescribed in Model No. 25 to Model No. 29 in the Appendix accompanying this Circular."

5. Supplementing Article 41a after Article 41 as follows:
"Article 41a. Sample images of uniforms for guard duty operations

The models and colors of uniforms for guard duty operations are prescribed in Model No. 30 to Model No. 35 in the Appendix accompanying this Circular."

6. Supplementing Article 46a after Article 46 as follows:
"Article 46a. Sample images of uniforms for communication line operations

The models and colors of uniforms for communication line operations are prescribed in Model No. 36 to Model No. 40 in the Appendix accompanying this Circular."

"Article 46a. Sample design of telecommunications line service uniforms
The style and color of telecommunications line service uniforms are specified in Sample Number 36 to Sample Number 40 in the Appendix attached hereto."

Article 2. Repeal certain Articles, Clauses and replace the Appendix of Circular No. 168/2020/TT-BQP dated December 25, 2020 issued by the Minister of National Defense stipulating the models and colors of regular uniforms, field uniforms, specialized uniforms, and working uniforms of the Vietnam Coast Guard.

1. Repeal Article 13.

2. Repeal Clause 3 from Article 4 to Article 46.

3. Replace the Appendix issued together with Circular No. 168/2020/TT-BQP dated December 25, 2020 issued by the Minister of National Defense stipulating the models and colors of regular uniforms, field uniforms, specialized uniforms, and working uniforms of the Vietnam Coast Guard with the Appendix issued together with this Circular.

Article 3. Effectiveness

This Circular takes effect from August 31, 2025.

Article 4. Responsibilities for Implementation

1. The Chief of General Staff, Director of the General Political Department, Heads of agencies and units, and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular.

2. The Logistics and Technical General Department shall direct the production of uniform items in accordance with the provisions of this Circular.

3. In the course of implementation, in case of any arising difficulties, agencies and units shall report to the Ministry of National Defense (through the Logistics and Technical General Department) for consolidation and reporting to the Head of the Ministry for consideration and resolution./.
