RESOLUTION
Issuing Model Rules on Operation
of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees
THE STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the National Assembly No. 57/2014/QH13 has been amended and supplemented with some articles pursuant to Law No. 65/2020/QH14 and Law No. 62/2025/QH15;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 178/2025/QH15 February 18, 2025 of the National Assembly on the organization of National Assembly agencies;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 71/2025/UBTVQH15 February 18, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on specific tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees;
Considering the proposal of the Representative Work Committee at Report No. 374/TTr-UBCTĐB15 dated May 28, 2025,
RESOLUTION:
Article 1
This Resolution promulgates the Model Rules on Operation of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees.
Article 2
The Ethnic Council and Committees shall base their Rules on Operation on the Model Rules on Operation of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees and other relevant laws, and issue Rules on Operation suitable for their specific tasks, powers, characteristics, and circumstances.
During implementation, if any issues arise or new regulations or requirements necessitate amendments or supplements, the Ethnic Council's Permanent Delegation and the Committees' Permanent Delegations shall submit their opinions to the Representative Work Committee for consolidation and reporting to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for consideration and decision.
Article 3
1. This Resolution takes effect from the date of issuance.
2. Resolution No. 238/2021/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated August 27, 2021 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the Model Rules on Operation of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees ceases to be effective from the date this Resolution takes effect.
3. The Ethnic Council, Committees, related agencies, organizations, and individuals shall implement this Resolution according to their responsibilities.
This Resolution was adopted by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Session 46, held on June 6, 2025.
