PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1077/1997/QĐ-TTg dated December 12, 1997 of the Government Chairman on the establishment of the National Science and Technology Policy Council;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Chairman of the National Science and Technology Policy Council,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the Regulation on the organization and operation of the National Science and Technology Policy Council attached hereto.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from July 25, 2009 and replaces Decision No. 148/2003/QĐ-TTg dated July 17, 2003 of the Government Chairman on the approval of the Regulation on the organization and operation of the National Science and Technology Policy Council.
Article 3. The Chairman and members of the National Science and Technology Policy Council, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees under central cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
