DECREE-LAW

On Supplementing Article 2 of Decree-Law No. 36 dated February 25, 1946 on Prosecution of the Destruction of Public Property

CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 26 dated February 25, 1946 on Prosecution of the Destruction of Public Property,

At the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Minister of Justice,

After deliberation by the Council of Ministers,

ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:

Article 1

The second paragraph is hereby added to Article 2 of Decree-Law No. 26 dated February 25, 1946 as follows:

"Article 2 ...

"... Those who obstruct the government and people's efforts to protect the dikes by any means shall be punished as if they were intentionally destroying the dikes."

Article 2

The Ministers of Justice, Interior, Public Works and National Defense are responsible for implementing this Decree-Law.
