CIRCULAR

ISSUING REGULATIONS ON THE RECOGNITION OF NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOLS, UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOLS, AND GENERAL SCHOOLS WITH MULTIPLE GRADE LEVELS

BASED ON Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

BASED ON Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Secondary Education Department,

THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING DECIDES:

Article 1. TO ISSUE WITH THIS CIRCULAR THE REGULATIONS ON THE RECOGNITION OF NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR LOWER SECONDARY SCHOOLS, UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOLS, AND GENERAL SCHOOLS WITH MULTIPLE GRADE LEVELS.

Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM APRIL 12, 2010.

THIS CIRCULAR REPLACES Decision No. 27/2001/QĐ-BGDĐT dated July 5, 2001 of the Minister of Education and Training on the Regulations on the Recognition of National Standards for Secondary Schools (from 2001 to 2010) and Decision No. 08/2005/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated March 14, 2005 of the Minister of Education and Training amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Regulations on the Recognition of National Standards for Secondary Schools (from 2001 to 2010) issued with Decision No. 27/2001/QĐ-BGDĐT dated July 5, 2001 of the Minister of Education and Training.

Article 3. CHAIRS OF PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES, DIRECTORS OF THE GOVERNMENT OFFICE, DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, HEADS OF RELATED UNITS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING, DIRECTORS OF DEPARTMENTS OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR.
