Circular No. 07/2013/TT-BTNMT amends and supplements Economic and Technical Norms for Geological Works issued together with Circular No. 11/2010/TT-BTNMT. This Circular applies to all work blocks related to geological activities and adds new sections to the Norms.
Key points
- Geological works → apply new norms, including: Geological work, drilling, excavation, sample processing, analysis-experimentation, geophysics, surveying, information-computer, geological museum, GPS measurement, seismic measurement, deep electrical resistivity imaging, georadar measurement, deep magnetic field measurement, drilling machine to a depth of 1200 meters and multi-core sampling.
- Geological works → supplement new sections: GPS measurement (Section XI), Seismic measurement (Section XII), Deep electrical resistivity imaging (Section XIII), Georadar measurement (Section XIV), Deep magnetic field measurement (Section XV), Deep borehole geophysics over 500 meters (Section XVI) and Drilling machine to a depth of 1200 meters (Section XVII).
- Geological works → replace the Rock Classification Table for drilling and excavation work with a new table.
🌐 Social impact of this document
- Citizens and businesses operating in the geological field must comply with the new norms, which may increase investment costs for projects.
- Organizations implementing this Circular need time to adjust their working procedures according to the new norms.
