Repealing certain regulatory legal documents

issued by the Minister of Justice

Based on the Law on Enactment of Legislative Acts dated June 22, 2015;

Based on the Law amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Enacting Legal Normative Documents dated June 18, 2020;

Pursuant to Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing certain provisions and implementing measures of the Law on Legislative Regulatory Documents;

Decree No. 96/2017/NĐ-CP dated August 16, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Justice;

Decree No. 154/2020/NĐ-CP dated 31 December 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 34/2016/NĐ-CP dated May 14, 2016 of the Government detailing some provisions and measures to implement the Law on Enacting Legal Normative Documents;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department for Legal Document Inspection;

The Minister of Justice hereby issues this Circular to abolish certain legal normative documents issued by the Minister of Justice.

This Circular takes effect from January 25, 2026.

1. Circular No. 05/2000/TT-BXD dated June 27, 2000 of the Minister of Construction guiding the implementation of support for people participating in revolutionary activities before the August Revolution of 1945 to improve housing pursuant to Decision No. 20/2000/QĐ-TTg dated February 3, 2000 of the Prime Minister.

Decision No. 06/2006/QĐ-BTP dated July 24, 2006 of the Minister of Justice on the issuance of the Regulation on the examination of international treaties.

Circular No. 18/2014/TT-BTP dated September 8, 2014 of the Minister of Justice guiding the auction sale of assets as provided for in Decree No. 53/2013/NĐ-CP dated May 18, 2013 of the Government on the establishment, organization, and operation of Asset Management Companies of Credit Institutions in Vietnam.

Article 2. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from February 15, 2021.

Article 3. Implementation Organization

The Director of the Department of Legal Normative Document Inspection, Heads of units under the Ministry of Justice, and related agencies, organizations, and individuals shall be responsible for implementing this Circular./.
