CIRCULAR

BIMPLEMENTATION Article 24provisions on Tstandards for evaluating lower secondary schools, high schools, and general education schools with multiple levels,

secondary general education schools and multi-level general education schools

Pursuant to the Education Law on June 14, 2005; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Education Law on November 25, 2009;

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/ND-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/ND-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law; and Decree No. 31/2011/ND-CP dated May 11, 2011 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 75/2006/ND-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Testing and Quality Assurance in Education,

The Minister of Education and Training issues this Circular on Standards for Evaluating Lower Secondary Schools, High Schools, and General Education Schools with Multiple Levels:

Article 1. This Circular promulgates the Standards for Evaluating Lower Secondary Schools, High Schools, and General Education Schools with Multiple Levels.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from May 21, 2012.

This Circular serves as the basis for adjusting, supplementing, or issuing replacement documents for Circular No. 06/2010/TT-BGDĐT dated February 26, 2010 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Regulation on Recognizing Lower Secondary Schools, High Schools, and General Education Schools with Multiple Levels Meeting National Standards; Decision No. 80/2008/QD-BGDĐT dated December 30, 2008 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Provision on Quality Evaluation Standards for High Schools; Circular No. 12/2009/TT-BGDĐT dated May 12, 2009 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Provision on Quality Evaluation Standards for Lower Secondary Schools; document No. 1741/BGDĐT-GDTrH dated March 5, 2009 of the Ministry of Education and Training guiding the evaluation of results of the movement to build friendly schools and proactive students; and Circular No. 43/2006/TT-BGDĐT dated October 20, 2006 of the Ministry of Education and Training guiding comprehensive inspections of schools and other educational institutions and inspections of teaching activities of teachers (applicable contents for lower secondary schools, high schools, and general education schools with multiple levels) In 2009, the Minister of Education and Training issued regulations on quality assessment standards for junior high schools; Circular number 1741/BGDĐT-GDTrH dated March 5, 2009, by the Ministry of Education and Training guiding the evaluation of the results of the "Building friendly schools and proactive students" competition movement; Circular number 43/2006/TT-BGDĐT dated October 20, 2006, by the Ministry of Education and Training guiding comprehensive inspections of schools, other educational institutions, and inspections of teachers' activities (applicable contents for junior high schools, secondary general education schools, and multi-level general education schools) junior high schools, secondary general education schools, and multi-level general education schools).

Article 3. Director of the Office, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training; Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, Directors of provincial Departments of Education and Training are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
