DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Regarding the establishment of the Steering Committee for the National Target Program on Employment
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decision No. 531/TTg dated August 8, 1996 of the Prime Minister on managing national programs, Decision No. 05/1998/QĐ-TTg dated January 14, 1998 of the Prime Minister on managing national target programs, and Decision No. 126/1998/QĐ-TTg dated July 11, 1998 of the Prime Minister approving the National Target Program on Employment until 2000;
At the proposal of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs,
DECISION:
Article 1. The National Target Program on Employment Steering Committee shall consist of the following members:
1. Chairperson: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
2. Deputy Chairperson (Permanent): Mr. Nguyen Luong Trao, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
3. Deputy Chairperson: Mr. Phan Quang Trung, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.
4. Deputy Chairperson: Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Deputy Minister of Finance.
5. Member: Mr. Le Huy Cong, Deputy Minister of Industry.
6. Member: Mr. Ngo The Dan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
7. Member: Mr. Tran Huu Trung, Director, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Article 2. The Steering Committee has an office located at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. Staff of the office belong to the establishment of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and relevant ministries and agencies, working on a part-time basis.
The Chairperson of the program is responsible for drafting and promulgating the operational regulations of the Steering Committee, assigning responsibilities to the established members, and deciding on the establishment of the office to ensure the effective implementation of the National Target Program on Employment.
Article 3. The Steering Committee is tasked with implementing the provisions of the Prime Minister's Decisions No. 126/1998/QĐ-TTg dated July 11, 1998 on approving the National Target Program on Employment until 2000 and No. 531/TTg dated August 8, 1996 on managing national programs, and Decision No. 05/1998/QĐ-TTg dated January 14, 1998 on managing national target programs.
Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
Article 5. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and members named in Article 1 are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
