List of veterinary drugs permitted for circulation in Vietnam, List of veterinary drugs prohibited from use in Vietnam and amendment and supplementation of certain provisions of Circular

number 01/2024/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 2, 2024 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the Harmonized System (HS) code list for goods under the management authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the list of goods subject to specialized inspection upon import and export in the field of agriculture and rural development

Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2019/NĐ-CP dated November 14, 2019 of the Government on implementing administrative procedures under the national single window mechanism, ASEAN single window mechanism, and specialized inspection of goods for export and import;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Animal Health;

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development issues this Circular

on the List of veterinary drugs permitted for circulation in Vietnam, the List of veterinary drugs prohibited from use in Vietnam

and amendment and supplementation of certain provisions of Circular No. 01/2024/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 2, 2024 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the HS code list for goods under the management authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the list of goods subject to specialized inspection upon import and export in the field of agriculture and rural development.

Pursuant to Decree No. 105/2022/NĐ-CP dated December 22, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Law on Veterinary Medicine dated June 19, 2015;

Pursuant to Decree No. 69/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management;

Article 1. Issued together with this Circular:

1. The List of veterinary drugs permitted for circulation in Vietnam (Annex I).

2. The List of veterinary drugs prohibited from use in Vietnam (Annex II).Article 2. Amendment and supplementation of certain provisions of Circular No. 01/2024/TT-BNNPTNT dated February 2, 2024 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on the HS code list for goods under the management authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the list of goods subject to specialized inspection upon import and export in the field of agriculture and rural development. Amend and supplement item 5, part B of the HS code list for raw materials for veterinary drugs at Section 18, Annex I on the HS code list for veterinary drugs and raw materials for veterinary drugs permitted for import and circulation in Vietnam as follows:

Article 3. Implementation Provisions

Article 4. The Director of the Department of Animal Health, heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.

During implementation, if there are difficulties or need for amendments and supplements, agencies, organizations, and individuals are requested to promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (through the Department of Animal Health) for consideration and resolution./.

3. The Animal Health Department shall compile and publish on its official website and the National Veterinary Medicine Database:

a) A list of veterinary medicine products that have been issued with a Certificate of Veterinary Medicine Circulation in Vietnam;

b) A list of veterinary medicine products whose Certificates of Veterinary Medicine Circulation in Vietnam have been revoked.

4. The Director of the Animal Health Department, heads of units under the Ministry, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.

During implementation, if there are any difficulties or need for amendments or supplements, it is requested that agencies, organizations, and individuals promptly report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (through the Animal Health Department) for consideration and resolution./.
