RESOLUTION

Electing the Chairman of the National Election Council

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

WHEREAS, the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 203/2025/QH15;

WHEREAS, the Law on Organization of the National Assembly No. 57/2014/QH13 as amended and supplemented by Laws Nos. 65/2020/QH14 and 62/2025/QH15;

WHEREAS, the Law on Election of Members of the National Assembly and People's Councils No. 85/2015/QH13;

WHEREAS, the Rules of Procedure for Sessions of the National Assembly promulgated by Resolution No. 71/2022/QH15 dated November 15, 2022 of the National Assembly;

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 211/2025/QH15 dated June 25, 2025 of the National Assembly on establishing the National Election Council;

WHEREAS, the Minutes of the vote counting on June 25, 2025 regarding the election results for Chairman of the National Election Council,

RESOLVES:

Article 1

Mr. Tran Thanh Manh, Member of the Politburo and Chairman of the National Assembly, shall hold the position of Chairman of the National Election Council.

Article 2

This Resolution takes effect from the date it is adopted by the National Assembly.

This Resolution was adopted on June 25, 2025, at the ninth session of the fifteenth term of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
