ON THE BASIS OF THE VIETNAM MARITIME CODE 2005;
ON THE BASIS OF GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 34/2003/NĐ-CP DATED APRIL 4, 2003 REGULATING THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION;
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSALS OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARINE ADMINISTRATION.
DECISION:
Article 1. AMENDING POINTS a AND b SUBITEM 8 ANNEX I INTERNATIONAL RULES TO PREVENT COLLISIONS BETWEEN SHIPS AT SEA ISSUED TOGETHER WITH DECISION NO. 49/2005/QĐ-BGTVT DATED OCTOBER 4, 2005 BY THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION IN THE ANNEX ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION.
Article 2. DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARINE ADMINISTRATION TO ANNOUNCE AND GUIDE ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED TO IMPLEMENT THE AMENDED POINTS IN THE ANNEX ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION.
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
Article 4. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTORS OF THE MINISTRY’S DEPARTMENTS, THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARINE ADMINISTRATION, AND THE HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION.
