CIRCULAR
Regulations on the content of the statistical index system for the healthcare sector
Based on the Statistics Law dated June 17, 2003;
Pursuant to the Decree No. 40/2004/NĐ-CP dated February 13, 2004 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Statistics;
Pursuant to Decree No. 03/2010/NĐ-CP dated January 13, 2010 of the Government stipulating tasks, powers, and organization of statistics for Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and government agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2012/NĐ-CP dated August 31, 2012 of the Government stipulating functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Decision No. 43/2010/QĐ-TTg dated June 2, 2010 of the Prime Minister on the issuance of the National Statistical Indicators System;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance;
The Minister of Health promulgates this Circular regulating the content of the statistical index system for the healthcare sector.
Article 1. Content of the Statistical Index System for the Healthcare Sector
Attached to this Circular is the content of the statistical index system for the healthcare sector according to the Basic Statistical Indicator System for the Healthcare Sector as prescribed in Circular No. 06/2014/TT-BYT dated February 14, 2014 issued by the Minister of Health.
Article 2. Implementation
1. The Planning and Finance Department shall take the lead and coordinate with the Departments, Bureaus, and General Departments under the Ministry of Health to develop a comprehensive reporting system for statistics to serve the collection of statistical indicators within the unified basic statistical indicator system for the healthcare sector throughout the country.
2. The Heads of Departments, Bureaus, and General Departments under the Ministry of Health shall be responsible for collecting and compiling the statistical indicators assigned to them within the basic statistical indicator system for the healthcare sector and submit them to the Planning and Finance Department for consolidation and publication.
3. The Department of Health at the provincial level shall be the leading agency responsible for collecting and summarizing statistical information within its jurisdiction to serve the calculation of basic statistical indicators of the health sector.
Article 3. Effectiveness
This Circular takes effect from October 1, 2014.
During the implementation of this Circular, if there are any difficulties, please report to the Ministry of Health (Planning and Finance Department) for research and resolution./.
