DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Issuing the List of Administrative Units in Difficult Areas

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister, Chairman of the National Ethnic Minorities Committee,
DECISION:
Article 1. Issued together with this Decision is the List of Administrative Units (communes, wards, towns) located in difficult areas serving as the basis for implementing certain special regimes and policies to promote economic and social development, ensure national defense and security, eradicate poverty, and improve material and spiritual living standards for the people, thereby reducing disparities in development levels compared to other regions nationwide.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
