Issuing Regulations on Quality Management of Postal and Telecommunication Services

MINISTER OF POST AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Pursuant to the Ordinance on Post and Telecommunications dated May 25, 2002;

Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications;

Pursuant to Decree No. 157/2004/NĐ-CP dated August 18, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Ordinance on Post and Telecommunications regarding postal services;

Pursuant to Decree No. 160/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 3, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Ordinance on Post and Telecommunications regarding telecommunication services;

Pursuant to Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government stipulating state management of product and commodity quality;

Pursuant to Decision No. 190/2004/QĐ-TTg dated November 8, 2004 of the Prime Minister on the management of courier services;

Considering the Memorandum No. 28/QLCL-CLDV dated August 24, 2006 of the Director of the Quality Management Department for Post and Telecommunications and Information Technology;

At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Attached to this Decision are "Regulations on Quality Management of Postal and Telecommunication Services".

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen (15) days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

This Decision replaces Decision No. 176/2003/QĐ-BBCVT dated November 10, 2003 of the Minister of Post and Telecommunications.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate, Science and Technology Department, other Departments, Director of the Quality Management Department for Post and Telecommunications and Information Technology, Heads of units under the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, Directors of Provincial Post and Telecommunications Departments, organizations and individuals involved in providing and using postal services, courier services, express delivery services, and telecommunication services are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
