Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2019;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 88/2014/QH13 dated November 28, 2014 of the National Assembly on reforming general education programs and textbooks; Resolution No. 51/2017/QH14 dated November 21, 2017 adjusting the implementation timeline for new general education programs and textbooks as stipulated in Resolution No. 88/2014/QH13 dated November 28, 2014 of the National Assembly on reforming general education programs and textbooks;
Pursuant to Decree No. 69/2017/NĐ-CP dated May 25, 2017 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 82/2010/NĐ-CP dated July 15, 2010 of the Government on teaching and learning ethnic minority languages and scripts in general education institutions and regular education centers;
The Minister of Education and Training issues this Circular promulgating the General Secondary Education Program for the Bahnar language, Cham language, Ede language, Jarai language, Khmer language, Mong language, Mnong language, Thai language.
Article 1. Attached hereto is the General Secondary Education Program for the Bahnar language, Cham language, Ede language, Jarai language, Khmer language, Mong language, Mnong language, Thai language.
Article 2. The subject matter programs prescribed in Article 1 of this Circular shall be implemented according to the timeline set forth in Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDĐT dated December 26, 2018 of the Minister of Education and Training on the General Secondary Education Program.
Article 3. This Circular takes effect from November 1, 2020 and replaces the following Decisions and Circulars of the Minister of Education and Training: Decision No. 48/2007/QĐ-BGDĐT dated August 29, 2007 promulgating the Elementary School Bahnar Language Program, Decision No. 74/2008/QĐ-BGDĐT dated December 26, 2008 promulgating the Elementary School Cham Language Program, Decision No. 75/2008/QĐ-BGDĐT dated December 26, 2008 promulgating the Elementary School Mong Language Program, Decision No. 76/2008/QĐ-BGDĐT dated December 26, 2008 promulgating the Elementary School Jarai Language Program, Decision No. 77/2008/QĐ-BGDĐT dated December 26, 2008 promulgating the Elementary School Bana Language Program, Circular No. 23/2012/TT-BGDĐT dated June 27, 2012 promulgating the Elementary School Mnong Language Program, Circular No. 24/2014/TT-BGDĐT dated July 25, 2014 promulgating the Elementary School and Lower Secondary School Khmer Language Program, and Circular No. 46/2014/TT-BGDĐT dated December 23, 2014 promulgating the Elementary School Thai Language Program.
The programs issued pursuant to the Decisions and Circulars mentioned in this Article shall continue to be applied until the provisions of Article 2 of this Circular take effect.
Article 4. Chairmen of provincial and centrally governed city People's Committees, Directors of Departments of Education and Training, general education institutions, secondary school teachers and students, organizations and individuals concerned are responsible for implementing this Circular.
