Pursuant to the Law on Foreign Trade Management year 2017;

Based on Decree No. 96/2022/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to Decree No. 69/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 26/2023/NĐ-CP dated May 31, 2023 of the Government on the Export Tariff, the Preferential Import Tariff, the List of Goods and the Amounts of Specific Duties, Mixed Duties, and Import Duties outside Quota Tariffs;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Import-Export;

The Minister of Industry and Trade issues this Circular stipulating the tariff quotas for import of goods salt, poultry eggs in 2024.

Article 2. Method of allocating the quota tariff for importing salt and poultry eggs in 2024

The quota tariff for importing salt and poultry eggs in 2024 shall be implemented according to the allocation method prescribed in the Decree No. 69/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Circular No. 12/2018/TT-BCT dated June 15, 2018 of the Minister of Industry and Trade detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Decree No. 69/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing certain provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.

Article 3. Recipients of the quota tariff allocation for importing salt and poultry eggs in 2024

1. The tariff quota for import of goods salt shall be allocated to traders directly using it as raw material for producing medicine, medical products, and chemical products.

2. The tariff quota for import of goods poultry eggs shall be allocated to traders with import needs.

Article 4. Time of allocation of the quota tariff for importing salt and poultry eggs in 2024

The Ministry of Industry and Trade shall consult with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to determine the time of allocation of the quota tariff for importing salt and poultry eggs in 2024.

Article 5. Effective Date

This Circular takes effect from February 6, 2024 until December 31, 2024./.
