Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Documents dated November 12, 1996, and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Legislative Documents dated December 16, 2002;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;

Pursuant to Circular No. 04/2005/TT-VPCP dated March 21, 2005, issued by the Government Office guiding the implementation of the Government's Decree No. 104/2004/NĐ-CP dated March 23, 2004, regarding the Official Gazette of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for central activities;

Considering Document No. 2330/ĐS-ATGT dated October 25, 2006, of the Vietnam Railway Corporation; Document No. 7275/BGTVT-KHCN dated November 20, 2006, of the Ministry of Transport; Document No. 1998/CĐSVN-VTPC dated November 30, 2006, of the Vietnam Railway Administration;

At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Amend and supplement certain points (as attached hereto) in the contents of the following three railway industry standards:

1. "Train Operation Procedures and Rail Consolidation Work," registration number 22TCN 342-05, promulgated together with Decision No. 75/2005/QĐ-BGTVT dated December 30, 2005, of the Ministry of Transport.

2. "Railway Operation Technical Regulations," registration number 22TCN 340-05, promulgated together with Decision No. 76/2005/QĐ-BGTVT dated December 30, 2005, of the Ministry of Transport;

3. "Railway Signaling Procedures," registration number 22TCN 341-05, promulgated together with Decision No. 27/2006/QĐ-BGTVT dated June 8, 2006, of the Ministry of Transport;

Article 2. The Director of the Vietnam Railway Administration is hereby instructed to notify and guide relevant units and individuals to implement the amended and supplemented points as set out in the three annexes to this Decision.

Article 3. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Inspector General, Heads of Departments, the Director of the Vietnam Railway Administration, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the General Director of the Vietnam Railway Corporation, and Heads of relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
