RESOLUTION
On the structure of the number of members of the Government for the term of the XVth National Assembly
OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
On the basis of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly No. 57/2014/QH13 amended and supplemented by some articles according to Law No. 65/2020/QH14 and Law No. 62/2025/QH15;
Pursuant to the Law on the Organization of the Government No. 76/2015/QH13 amended and supplemented by Law No. 47/2019/QH14;
Pursuant to the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly issued together with Resolution No. 71/2022/QH15 dated November 15, 2022 of the National Assembly;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 176/2025/QH15 dated February 18, 2025 of the National Assembly on the organizational structure of the Government for the term of the XVth National Assembly;
Pursuant to the Report No. 19/TTr-TTg dated February 8, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the structure of the number of members of the Government for the term of the XVth National Assembly;
RESOLUTION:
Article 1
The structure of the number of members of the Government for the term of the XVth National Assembly includes 25 members:
- Prime Minister;
- 07 Deputy Prime Ministers;
- 14 Ministers of the Ministries: Defense; Public Security; Foreign Affairs; Home Affairs; Justice; Finance; Industry and Trade; Agriculture and Rural Development; Construction; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Science and Technology; Education and Training; Health; Ethnic Minorities and Religion;
- 03 Heads of agencies at ministerial level: Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; Inspector General of the Government; Chairman of the Office of the Government.
Article 2
1. This Resolution shall take effect from the date it is adopted by the National Assembly.
2. Resolution No. 20/2021/QH15 dated July 28, 2021 of the National Assembly on the structure of the number of members of the Government for the term of the XVth National Assembly and Resolution No. 143/2024/QH15 dated August 26, 2024 of the National Assembly on supplementing the number of Deputy Prime Ministers for the term of the XVth National Assembly shall cease to be effective from the date this Resolution takes effect.
This Resolution was adopted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 9th extraordinary session of the XVth term, on February 18, 2025.
