Amending and supplementing Circular No. 101/2007/TT-BNN dated December 10, 2007 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on amending and supplementing certain contents of Circular No. 32/2006/TT-BNN dated May 8, 2006 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development "guiding the implementation of Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and agents, purchase, sale, processing, and transit of goods with foreign countries"
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 3, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government "detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and agents, purchase, sale, processing, and transit of goods with foreign countries";
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development amends and supplements Circular No. 101/2007/TT-BNN dated December 10, 2007 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development amending and supplementing certain contents of Circular No. 32/2006/TT-BNN dated May 8, 2006 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development "guiding the implementation of Decree No. 12/2006/NĐ-CP dated January 23, 2006 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Trade regarding international trade activities and agents, purchase, sale, processing, and transit of goods with foreign countries" as follows:
In Section 4. Amending and supplementing Point 6.4, Clause 6, Chapter II
Old provision: "Prohibits the importation of types of pesticides and raw materials for producing pesticides listed in the Catalogue of Pesticides Prohibited for Use in Vietnam issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at Decision No. 22/2005/QĐ-BNN dated April 22, 2005. Decision No. 22/2005/QD-BNN dated April 22, 2005. In some cases, the importation of pesticide standards from the catalogue of prohibited pesticides may be permitted for serving residue testing and illegal imported pesticides but must have a permit from the Plant Protection Department."
Now amended to read: "Prohibits the importation of types of pesticides and raw materials for producing pesticides listed in the Catalogue of Pesticides Prohibited for Use in Vietnam issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at Decision No. 23/2007/QĐ-BNN dated March 28, 2007. In some cases, the importation of pesticide standards from the catalogue of prohibited pesticides may be permitted for serving residue testing and illegal imported pesticides but must have a permit from the Plant Protection Department."
This Circular takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
